Life’s benchmark moments have been at the heart of what I do since 2004. I love walking alongside people as they enter a new stage of life, guiding them with my expertise, experience and calm demeanour. This began in 2004 when I started my own photography business, working hard to grow it into one of Winnipeg’s top wedding photography companies. In 2016 I took this knowledge and experience and dove into Real Estate with the same passion. In 2024 I reached another professional benchmark becoming the owner and broker of Powell Property Group.

I work diligently to be an expert in my field, attaining my broker’s licence in 2019, serving on numerous professional boards, and continuing to train in specific areas of real estate. I’ve been honoured to achieve individual sales awards for the last seven years. 

In the midst of this, our family has been full of life and activity. It brings me joy and fulfilment to be involved in our kids’ sports and activities, and volunteer in the broader community.

The introduction of the GST, the recession and the subsequent falling real estate prices created a very difficult situation for home sellers. These changes lead to an aggressive commission structure from 4%.

This new format offered home sellers an excellent opportunity to recapture the equity in their properties at the time. As time went on and markets fluctuated, the commission structure from 4% became a permanent company philosophy.

Over years I have been involved with the Winnipeg Realtors Association, Manitoba Real Estate Association and The Independent Real Estate Brokers of Manitoba.

I was a past director for the Winnipeg Realtors Association in 2005/2006 and have chaired such committees as Professional Standards, Multiple Listing Service and Winnipeg Real Estate News. These affiliations were instrumental in the success of my career.

It has been a privilege and an honor to receive Gold and Silver Medallions from The Winnipeg Realtors Association annually since 1994 for outstanding sales and achievement.

Even as markets change, my company’s philosophies are still the cornerstone of a prosperous real estate transaction. Innovative marketing methods, the highest levels of professionalism, integrity and creditability will continue to make Powell Property Group one of the leading independent real estate brokerages in the city of Winnipeg.

David has been involved in organized real estate for 40 years as a successful residential salesperson and previous broker/owner. David has served as president of the Manitoba Real Estate Association, president of Winnipeg Regional Real Estate Board and as a director of the Canadian Real Estate Association. David is truly knowledgeable in his field and is known to provide his clients a very comfortable approach to buying and selling real estate.

Enid Westwood is a passionate and hardworking Realtor with more than 20 years of experience. I make it my goal to exceed my client’s expectations by bringing knowledge, enthusiasm, and the organizational skills necessary to assist them in every aspect of their Real Estate needs. I currently volunteer as a director-at-large with the Manitoba Real Estate Association (MREA) and Co-chair for Investigative Committee.

In 2022, I completed my BA (4-year) Psychology degree from the University of Winnipeg and previously earned a BSc (Honours) from the University of Guelph in Ontario. As your Realtor, I will strive to get your Real Estate needs accomplished.

Prabhjot Singh (Jo) came here as an International student in 2011 with the aspiration of becoming a successful entrepreneur. Prabh pursued his education at Red River College, majoring in accounting, then worked as a Business Development Manager. After working in the supply chain and management industry, Jo realized his true passion was real estate, as he was eager to help people in a professional capacity and share his real estate knowledge with them. He is committed to learning something new everyday.

I became a REALTOR® after spending 19 years as a teacher in the local public school system.
